Water Well Repair

Water well inspection and well repair.

In addition to drilling water wells we also provide limited well repair, repair of old damaged water wells, and plugging of abandoned ones.

Water well inspections gives us a detailed view of the condition of your well. We use the latest in down-hole camera-video technology to inspect your water well. If you are buying a ranch and not sure if the well is in good working order, we can help! We inspect for screen/slot condition, leaks in the casing, and test the water quality in existing water wells.

Liners are needed in wells where the casing is old and deteriorating and/or that have leaks. We can install a liner inside existing well to prolong life of the water well and prevent well contamination.

Installing stainless steel screens in your water well is a reliable and effective way of preventing gravel and sand from entering well while allowing water flow into well. All screens are custom built to exact specifications for the condition of well. A sand sample will be obtained to determine the proper size of screen for your application. Screens greatly extends the life of expensive submersible pumps and increase the particle filtration of the water in the well. We can also install screens into existing perforated wells that the slots have washed out and causing well to pump sand.

Finally plugging old abandoned wells is a must. Abandoned water wells are a ready source of water contamination of sensitive aquifers and nearby water wells. By plugging abandoned large bore wells will prevent potential safety hazard to pets and children. Abandoned water wells are a threat to the quality our water supply and by Texas law must be plugged. A well is considered abandoned when is not in good working condition and if it not been used for six consecutive months.
