Domestic Water Wells

Water wells for home and livestock.

McKinley Drilling will help you with your domestic water well needs. These wells are smaller bore and used for watering your home or ranch, as well, they are important in providing water for wildlife.

From a Water Well Driller:

Water well drilling rigs are used to drill a hole through the soil and formation layers to reach groundwater. Not all water wells are drilled the same way, we use mud rotary drilling. After finishing the drilling the casing is then put in the well. Then we go back to bottom with the drill stem and pump fresh water down to remove drilling mud from the outside casing. This helps develope the well and prevents drilling mud from plugging the perforations/screen.

We then gravel pack the well around the screen section to create the perfect filter. The remainder of bore hole is then sealed to prevent bad water formations or surface contamination from getting into the well. Well depths and water quality is site specific, which why it is important to rely on a company that has extensive water well records in your region.
